As reported by the Police Department, targeted preventive control measures of traffic participants will be carried out in May on state and local roads, police officers will work on public, non-public or mixed patrols.
May 6-8 control of vehicle drivers not stopping in front of the pedestrian crossing, when required by the Road Traffic Rules, will be carried out, May 9-11. – control of drivers’ activities not related to driving, as well as control of the use of mandatory safety equipment (safety belts, special seats for children (fastening systems), safety helmets).
May 13-19 control of trucks and buses will be carried out (Operation Truck & Bus), May 22-25. – control of drivers of bicycles, electric micromobility devices.
May 27-29 the police will check the sobriety of the drivers of vehicles, carry out checks for intoxication from narcotics or other psychoactive substances.
The chief police commissariats of the counties, taking into account the state of emergency, can organize other additional measures in the territories under their supervision.
