Alytus district is rich for another century! Angelė Rakickaitė, a resident of Vanagėlių village, Butrimonii ward, welcomed a beautiful anniversary. She was visited and congratulated by the mayor of the Alytus district municipality, Rasa Vitkauskienė, the head of the social support department, Dalia Burlinskienė, and Andrius Karlonas, the elder of Butrimonii.
As the mayor R. Vitkauskienė said, you can’t help but admire this woman – not everyone has such energy, brightness and optimism.
“Dear Angela, good health to you, endurance and may we come to you in five years to congratulate you on your 105th anniversary!”, Mayor R. Vitkauskienė said after congratulating and presenting gifts.
The centenarian really has something to be happy about – she doesn’t complain about her health, she also takes care of herself.
God blessed Ms. Angela with sight – she needed glasses only two years ago after surgery. But until now, you can read and watch TV without restriction.
Even the centenarian does not lack strength – she can eat by herself. And on the weekend, he celebrated his anniversary with relatives and close people.
The woman is convinced that a relatively quiet lifestyle helped her to reach such a long age and she did not allow herself to sit down – there was never a shortage of work.
