Although we still have to wait for summer weather in Lithuania, the country’s events market is heating up very quickly. In the last month of spring, the show of the Latin megastar J Balvin, the “Comic Con” festival that attracts thousands of participants and the passion of the world hockey championship await us.

The month of May will also be distinguished by the abundance of festivals. In addition to the aforementioned Comic Con event, the VibeLift youth festival, the hugely successful Red Castle festival and the Vilnius Spring festival, which is being organized for the first time, will invite you to have a great time.

World Ice Hockey Championship (I Div. Group B)

On April 27, the IIHF World Ice Hockey Championship (Division I, Group B) started in Vilnius Twinsbet Arena, which changed its name, and will continue until May 3. The new and ambitious music festival “Vilnius Spring festival” invites you to immerse yourself in the world of exceptionally beautiful musical sounds in the capital’s National Art Gallery. The festival will consist of four concerts: on May 9, the festival will be opened by “Vilnius JJAZZ Ensemble” dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Lithuania’s EU and NATO membership and St. Christopher’s Chamber Orchestra performance, and on May 16, the first concert in Lithuania with “MiMu Gloves” sensory gloves will take place, in which, together with St. Kristoforos Chamber Orchestra, Raminta Naujanytė–Bjelle will present her latest songs. VibeLift 2024 Youth Festival

The biggest youth event in Lithuania will take place this year at the “Žalgiris” arena in Kaunas, where you can discover how artificial intelligence (AI) and technology are changing the working and learning environment, what skills will be needed for tomorrow’s professions and how to survive and improve in such a changing world. The festival program includes a whole bunch of famous Lithuanian people: “8 Kambarys”, Ieva Mackevičienė, Vidas Bareikis, Marijonas Mikutavičius, Indrė Kavaliauskaitė, Mantas Kalnietis, Žygimantas Gečas, Gabija Skučaitė, Sergejus Maslobojevas, Inidė Jasnauskaitė, Osvaldas Jonaitis, Nedas Zimantas and Šarūnas Kezys.
