According to the company, most of the heat was saved in renovated houses, but good results were also achieved in unrenovated apartment buildings, where smart heat management, modern technologies were installed and constant maintenance of the heating system was carried out responsibly.

It has already become clear which Vilnius apartment building managed by the company has become the heat saving record holder. This is Naujininkai St. Renovated house numbered 2. Compared to previous periods, the heat consumption of this apartment building has decreased by 58 percent.

After 57 percent the other two renovated buildings consumed less heat energy – J.Tiškevičius str. 10 and Krakuvos str. 9A house.

At that time, among the non-renovated apartment buildings in the capital, the most heat was saved on Gedimina Ave. 52 in the house. Here, with the help of smart technologies, knowledge and experience, “Mano BŪSTO” specialists reduced heat energy losses by as much as 35%.

“In this house, it was possible to achieve really excellent savings results by optimizing the operation of the heating system and performing remote and continuous control of the parameters of the heat point. By observing temperature changes outside, we were able to quickly make appropriate decisions – to reduce or increase the heat supply. This is very important, because the real-time monitoring and the decisions implemented in accordance with it allowed to optimize heat consumption in the house to the maximum, and for the residents to save money”, says Robertas Jasmontas, Head of the Maintenance Group of “Mano BŪSTO”.

“Mano BŪSTAS” manages 1,806 heating points in the Vilnius region, of which even 98 percent. are modernized. This means that these points, compared to old heat units, distribute heat much more efficiently and, as a result, the energy demand in the whole house decreases. 82 percent heat points “Mano BŪSTO” specialists maintain with the help of smart technologies that allow even more efficient regulation of heat distribution and consumption in apartment buildings.

According to R. Jasmontas, efficiently maintained automated heat points help reduce heat consumption in an apartment building by an average of 8-11 percent. This means that most of the company’s customers received up to a tenth of their bills last heating season compared to those whose houses are equipped with old heating points and whose maintenance is carried out using outdated methods.

It was possible to save even more heat in those houses where residents’ apartments are equipped with Smart Home technology developed by “Mano BŪSTO” specialists. This innovative system ensures optimal control of the house’s heat supply, taking into account both indoor and outdoor temperatures, as well as additional energy consumption factors such as the sun and wind. Smart Home automatically adjusts the temperature according to the weather forecast. In addition, with the help of artificial intelligence algorithms, the system promptly responds to changes in outdoor and indoor temperatures and selects the most suitable room heating.

In those Vilnius apartment buildings where “Smart Home” technology is already installed, the most – 13 percent. heat, managed to save Kalvarijju st. 144 in the house. In total, during this heating season, residents in this house managed to save a total of 3,793 euros, or 79 euros for each average, 60 sq. m. meters for an apartment.
