The chance of rain, at least more significant, will be small in the entire region. The gusty wind will blow mainly from the southeast, south, only in the coastal area it will turn away from the sea in the afternoon. The highest temperature today will already reach 20-25 degrees Celsius, the hottest will be in the southwestern and central regions of the country.
On Tuesday, the weather conditions in our region will not change much, only the north-western edge of the country will be blocked by a cloud band of the atmospheric front. Here, both at night and during the day, short rain is expected in places, thunderstorms may occur. However, more or less sunny and dry weather is expected in the greater part of the country. The wind will be southeast, south, rather weak at night, moderate during the day. The temperature will drop to 8-13 degrees Celsius at night, and the air will warm up again to 20-25 degrees Celsius during the day.
We will start May with dry and warm weather. No rain is forecast for Wednesday night or day. The wind will hardly be felt at night, and during the day it will blow gently mainly from the southeast and east. On a clear night, the temperature will fluctuate between 7-12 degrees Celsius, during the day we will be able to enjoy the summer heat of 20-25 degrees again.
On Thursday, Lithuania will enter the southern edge of a new Scandinavian anticyclone. The night is predicted to be starry and dry. Light wind will blow from the southeast, east. The temperature will drop to 6-11 degrees Celsius, the coldest will be in the sands of Southeast Lithuania.
During the day, Lithuania will be hindered by a low-active cold atmospheric front moving from the north. Clouds will increase, another drop of rain may fall in places in the eastern part of the country. The prevailing wind will be easterly, of moderate strength. The temperature in the eastern edge of the country may no longer reach 20 degrees, but elsewhere the weather will still warm up to 21-24 degrees.
On Friday, the Scandinavian anticyclone will gradually retreat. The night is predicted to be calm, without rain, but cloudy, so it will be quite warm: 7-12 degrees will prevail, only in the eastern edge of the country it will be one degree cooler. During the day, the sky will be mottled, with zero short rain in some places. The wind will stick to the eastern directions, with moderate strength. Temperatures will range from 18-19 degrees in the eastern regions to 20-22, maybe even 23 degrees in the southwestern edge of the country.
There should be more clouds on Saturday, and the chance of rain will increase, especially during the day. The wind will turn from the north and bring even cooler air. It is forecast to be 5-10 degrees warm at night, and the temperature will rarely reach 20 degrees during the day.
Sunday promises to be drier, but the heat should be even less both at night and during the day.
