The police informed that on April 27, around 6 p.m. 33 min., Vilnius district VPK was notified that on the same day, in the period from 11 a.m. 30 minutes until 2 p.m. 30 items were stolen from the store’s unlocked office premises in a shopping center in Vilnius, Saltoniškių St. iPhone PRO and Pro MAX mobile phones.

The loss is about 45,000 euros.

The suspects, a man (born in 1980), a man (born in 1989) and a man (born in 2000) were taken into custody.

A preliminary investigation into the theft has been launched.

Romanian citizens detained

How Delphi informed VSAT representative Giedrius Mišutis, the border guards of the Kalvarija checkpoint arrested three Romanian citizens who were suspected of stealing the mentioned phones from a store in Vilnius.

The border guards arrested the suspects in the municipality of Kalvarija, within the boundaries of the village of Salaperaugis, on the Marijampolė-Suvalkai road. It is said that the three men were on their way to the territory of Poland.

Their car had Finnish license plates. 30 phones were found in the vehicle.

VSAT officers stopped the suspects, checked them, and then handed them over to the police.
