The freezers were also quickly emptied. Some of the frozen items, such as vegetables, pizzas, even ice cream, shoppers were already recording empty refrigerators on Wednesday evening and said there was nothing left to go to the store at all.
“There’s almost nothing left. And the shampoo and shower gel bottles are broken. People were surprised that where the discount was indicated, there were already empty shelves,” said the woman who shared the photos.
People who are used to shopping in Acropolis will not be left without the most necessary food items. A new Maxima X store will temporarily operate in the shopping center while the renovation of the Maxima XXX store takes place.
The revamped store will reportedly open its doors at the end of September.
