Panevėžys city municipality’s Culture and Art Project Evaluation Commission allocated funds for partial financing of culture and art projects. Priorities should be given to projects promoting cooperation between several art fields, creative innovations, highlighting the city’s history, traditions and famous people, as well as projects dedicated to celebrating the Song Festival.

4100 EUR will go to the festival “Iškrovos 24” of VšĮ “Guvus”, 3200 EUR – to the festival “Dūdu vasara” of the Association of Brass Wind Instruments Association of Lithuania, 3000 EUR – to the project of Elena Mezginaitė’s public library “Kaleidoscope of Literature and Art”, 2900 EUR – to the Stasios Eidrigevičius Arts Center for the project “Hidden, but perhaps revealed”. EUR 2,500 each was allocated to the XXII children’s and youth music festival-competition “JAZZ fontanas” of the association “JAZZ fontanas”, the project of the Stasios Eidrigevičiaus art center “Gegužinė Pragiedruliuios”, the XXII international painters plein air organized by the Panevėžys branch of the Lithuanian artists’ union, dedicated to the memory of Kazimier Naruševičius “Panevėžys 2024” . EUR 2,400 each is allocated to the 20th international film festival “European cinema both day and night” organized by the “Garsas” film center and “Cultural bearer’s days” by the Panevėžys culture center. EUR 2,200 each is allocated to the Panevėžys Puppet Carriage Theater’s 38th traditional summer tour with a carriage around Lithuania and the series of creative evenings organized by the Panevėžys Musical Theater “Sounds of the Hometown”. EUR 2,100 will go to the film festival “Kino pavasaris” organized by VšĮ “Kino pavasaris”, EUR 2,000 will go to the project of the Art Gallery “Panevėžiesiai: let’s create a portrait of a citizen together”.

The Elena Mezginaitė public library project “Actualization of the memory of the poet Elena Mezginaitė in the Elena Mezginaitė library in Panevėžys” has been allocated 1900 EUR, 1600 EUR – for another project of the Elena Mezginaitė public library – the survival room “Skambutis”. 1,500 EUR will go to the Panevėžys Cultural Center project “Concert Series for International Jazz Day”, 1,400 EUR will be allocated to the “National Cinema” organized by the “Garsas” cinema center, and to the “A Galerija” project of VšĮ VšĮ – cultural parallels.
