Go Vilnius employs about 50 managers: the highest salary is 9,800 euros – MadeinVilnius.lt

The official Vilnius city development agency “Go Vilnius” also provides information on the salaries it pays to its employees on its website. However, it was not the amount of salaries that raised an eyebrow, but the fact that the agency is staffed almost exclusively by managers.

The agency has 56 employees – almost all managers

At the moment, 56 employees are employed at VšĮ “Go Vilnius”, according to the website of Rekvizitai.lt. Let’s take a look at how the employees are arranged by position.

The institution is headed by a director, the company has 6 information specialists, 9 – heads of departments/units, 6 – managers. project managers and as many as 34 project managers.

“Go Vilnius” also provided the amounts of salaries paid to employees

According to Rekvizitait.lt data of February 2024, the median salary of a public institution was almost EUR 3,370 before taxes. The average salary of employees before taxes is EUR 3,518.13 (women – EUR 3,609.56; men – EUR 3,121.95).

Let’s take a look at the monthly salaries before taxes paid to Go Vilnius employees from the beginning of 2024:

• Director – EUR 9,804 (increased by almost EUR 1,000, about +10.16% compared to 2023);
• Heads of department/department 9 – EUR 4,960 each (reduced by EUR 114, -2.5% compared to 2023);
• 6 men project managers – EUR 3,432 each (reduced by EUR 130, -3.65% compared to 2023);
• 34 project managers – EUR 2,697 each (reduced by EUR 275, -9.25% compared to 2023);
• 6 information specialists – EUR 1,549 each (reduced by EUR 225, -12.68% compared to 2023).
