More about this in TV3 news.

Tomas Jakutis from Kaunas, who punched the nose of Algimantas Ulvids, accused of molesting minor girls at a gas station, heard the verdict of the court.

“The person is found guilty of a minor health disorder, he was sentenced to 9 months’ imprisonment without intensive supervision. The person is obliged to serve 40 hours in social service institutions and has also not served his last sentence, so they are combined and the person is fined 1,600 euros,” said Tautvilė Merkevičiūtė, representative of the Kaunas district court.

T. Jakutis will also have to participate in a program to change violent behavior.

“When sentencing, the fact that the person was remorseful and confessed to the criminal act was taken into account, but also the fact that the person committed the criminal act as a recidivist,” said T. Merkevičiūtė.

The man made up for it with a relatively light sentence, but he will have to thin his wallet considerably – older crimes have also caught up. Jakutis has already paid 250 euros for Ulvid’s treatment costs to the State Sick Fund, and will still have to pay the striptease lover himself.

“The lawsuits were partially satisfied – 27 euros were awarded for pecuniary damage compensation and 1,000 euros for non-pecuniary damage compensation,” said the representative of the Kaunas district court.

Aims to claim 10 thousand. euros

Ulvidas sought to claim 10 thousand euros. It is true that in the middle of the trial, they had concluded a settlement agreement with the accused Jakučis for the sum of 3,000 euros. However, Ulvidas stuck to his initial claim without agreeing to keep the agreement and pay the money to the accused.

In the previous meeting, Jakutis explained why he decided not to abide by the agreements.

“We don’t deal with him, you see what lies from him, how can you deal with him?” – But you agreed to sign the peace agreement? – I changed my mind. – So what are you going to do now? – Nothing, let me judge, I changed my mind, it’s full of lies”, said T. Jakutis in March.

Ulvidas, who now performs striptease for underage girls, assures that he will consider whether to appeal against such a sentence.

“It’s good that he sentenced, because the court understood that a crime was committed, obviously. Here it was clear that a crime had been committed against me. We will discuss the award of damages with the lawyer”, said A. Ulvidas.

The verdict can be appealed to a higher court within 20 days.
