Military experts: headaches are increasing, and Russians lack the means to relieve them

The fuel factory and Shahed drone factory were successfully hit. In the latter case, the UJ22 drone was probably hit, and it cannot be ruled out that the fuel plant was also attacked by the same type of drone. If just yesterday the need to protect fuel plants was one of the most serious headaches for Russians, now the need to protect another critical infrastructure adds to it.

The headaches are increasing, and the Russians lack the necessary air defenses to suppress them.

It cannot be ruled out that air defense systems and mobile anti-drone teams with machine guns will appear around the most important infrastructure objects of the aggressor.

Cremation. The Russians tried again to break through to the Zherebetz River in the Terni – Yampolivka section, the Ukrainians defended themselves.

Lysychansk. As predicted, the occupiers resumed operations along the contact line. They are trying to improve their situation and create conditions for future operations towards Syversk. The aggressor announces that he managed to advance in Bilohorivka, but Ukrainian and independent sources do not confirm this.

Bachmut. The aggressor attacked Ukrainian logistics centers in Druzhkivka and Torecki with aircraft and missiles (probably S300), possibly in preparation for an assault on Chasiv Yar.

The situation in the approaches to the town of Chasiv Yar is complicated. The Russians have about 1 km left to its eastern edge, the situation is dynamic. The aggressor’s achievements in the flanks (heights near Bohdanivka and Ivanivska) are more modest, so the occupiers intensify their attacks here. So that the Chasiv Yar offensive operation does not start in a frontally narrow section, but with the widest possible front and covering the supply routes of the Ukrainians with fire.

It is very important that the Ukrainian defenders do not give up their positions on the eastern side of the canal (Bohdanivka – Hryhorivka), because the dominant heights here will make it difficult for them to organize a defense on the other side of the canal. This may lead to a bypass of Chasiv Yar from the north. It is very good that the Ukrainians are holding on in the mentioned section.

An aggressor would greatly benefit from success on the southern flank, e.g. go out to the canal and attack towards Stupocki. However, the Ukrainians continue to defend themselves in the Klishijivka – Andrijivka – Kurdiumivka section.

Avdijivka – Vuhledar. The aggressor hit the Ukrainian logistics center Pokrovsk again.

Northern flank. The Russians are trying to break through the defense of Ukrainian units near Berdychye, thereby bypassing the fortified area from the north. Ukrainian forces defended themselves. The situation in Semenivka remains unclear.

Both the occupiers and the Ukrainians announce the battles taking place here, but their status and exact locations (whether the Russians are already entrenched on the other side of the Durna River) are not completely clear.

Center. Ukrainian forces defended themselves in Pervomaisk, but the situation here remains complicated.

Southern flank. The Russians continue to attack Heorhijivka and Novomychailivka. If because of the first settlement, it seems that the occupiers are unable to advance (Ukrainians are destroying the attacking enemy from the heights), then the situation in Novomychailivka and its approaches is complicated.

Here, the aggressor continues constant attacks, so far the defenders of Ukraine manage to hold him back.

Ukrainian forces struck targets in Mariupol, more details about the consequences are still missing.

Traditional bar snub-nosed continues in traditional places – Robotynės plešte and Staromajorskė. No changes in the contact line.

True, when reporting on the situation near Robotynya, the aggressor’s war propagandists started talking about “objective reasons” why they are unable to move forward: 1) the attack is uphill, 2) very intense Ukrainian fire. “Serious reasons,” experts quip.

The aggressor reports that Ukrainian forces have become more active around Krynki.

Their attacks are recorded, but the outcome of the battle is not clear. Ukrainian aviation activity is also being recorded more and more often. Their Mig-29s drop AASM250 bombs, the French JDAM counterparts, on the Russians.
