Residents believe that such reasons can be serious illness, disability, financial difficulties. Government representatives are negotiating the reasons. We will talk more about this with the Vice Minister of Social Security and Labor, Martyn Šiurkus, and the economist, Professor Rom Lazutka.
April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day. This day aims to draw the public’s attention to autism, and various events are also organized throughout the month of April, thus raising general ßawareness about this developmental disorder. The conducted survey showed that 81 percent support their safe children financially, with services or in other forms. 40-60 years age population, and 76 percent saves older relatives, although, according to the study, both young labor market participants and older ones earn similarly. A new survey of public opinion shows that the opinions of Lithuanian residents towards women with disabilities are changing, but very slowly. 1 in 4 respondents noticed that in the last two years there has been an increase in public information about violence against women with disabilities.
