There is less and less time left until the “Rammstein” concert, which is on May 22. will shake Vilniaus Vingis Park. Two weeks before the concert, people who bought tickets received unexpected letters: some will have to “repersonalize” their tickets. “Rammstein” fans will have to pay an additional 11 euros for this, reports the news portal “Made In Vilnius”.
“We want to remind and inform you that all tickets for the event “Rammstein – Europe Stadium Tour 2023″ must be personalized, that is, the name and surname of the person who wants to enter the event must be indicated on each ticket. If the name and surname of the person who wants to enter the event is not indicated on the ticket you have purchased, you need to change the name (repersonalization) of that ticket”, – this is the letter received by one of the editorial colleagues of the portal MadeinVilnius.lt.
Tickets for this band’s concert were sold out back in December. It wasn’t until Monday, two weeks before the concert, that people who bought tickets received letters about the need to properly personalize their tickets.
The tickets will have to be repersonalized by those people who provided incorrect data during the purchase. This means that if the ticket was purchased in the name of person A, and person A is traveling to the concert with person B, then person B’s ticket must be repersonalized and person B’s first and last name must be indicated on it. In the letter sent to Bilietai.lt, it is noted that name change is only possible once.
“Tickets can be repersonalized until May 21. Later, ticket repersonalization will be available at the venue. If you have already personalized your ticket, i.e. it will have your name and surname on it, in that case you do not need to do anything additional”, the letter reads.
During the event, the organizers will check whether the name on the ticket matches the identity of the person who came to the concert. So, those who are going to the concert will need to have a personal identification document with them. Otherwise, people risk not getting to the concert.
It is estimated that about 30,000 people will participate in the “Rammstein” concert in Vingios Park. people. Preparations for this concert have already started. Vilnius City Municipality informed that during the preparatory work for the Rammstein concert, pedestrian and all vehicle traffic will be restricted in Vingios Park for two weeks.
The organizers of the concert have not yet provided a comment to the Made In Vilnius news portal.
