If you want to grow big and tasty garlic, you don’t need to spend money on expensive fertilizers! In today’s article, we will share a simple recipe for fertilizing garlic, which consists of three inexpensive ingredients.
Why does garlic need fertilizer?
Garlic is a relatively hardy plant, but it needs nutrients to grow actively and please with good taste.
This fertilization recipe will saturate the soil with useful micronutrients that promote the growth and development of garlic.
Fertilizer components:
1 liter package of mustard oil;
500 g of wood ash;
10 tablets of succinic acid (0.5 g each).
Preparation:
Grind the succinic acid tablets into a powder. Mix succinic acid powder with mustard oil and ash.
Spread the mixture evenly over the garlic beds. Do not worry about the exact proportions of the ingredients – this fertilization will not over-fertilize the plants.
After fertilizing, it is recommended to loosen the soil a little or cover it with a layer of humus or black soil so that the garlic can absorb nutrients better.
