Data from the State Data Agency reveal that in 2022 managers earned 2905.7 euros per month, specialists – 2397.7 euros, and technicians and junior specialists – 1798.3 euros.

Managers and specialists exceeded the average gross salary of the national economy (excluding agricultural, forestry and fishery enterprises) of EUR 1,827.5) – by 59 and 31.2 percent, respectively.

Among the managers, the managers of financial and insurance and information and communication companies earned the most – EUR 5,379.6 and EUR 5,256.2, respectively.

Meanwhile, specialists earned the most in information and communications (EUR 3,553.5), financial and insurance activities in companies (EUR 3,182.7), and people in the field of health care and social work activities (EUR 2,576.4).

At least in 2022 unskilled workers earned EUR 1,023.3, and service sector workers and sellers earned EUR 1,233. Their gross wages were 44 and 32.5 percent, respectively. lower than the average monthly gross wage in the country.

Women’s gross earnings were lower than men’s in all major occupational groups. Female managers earned 6.8 percent. less than male managers, and female specialists – 22.3 percent. less than men of the same occupational group. The salary of unskilled workers was 11.1 percent. lower than that of men in this profession.

There were the most specialists in the country

Specialists accounted for the majority – 29.2 percent. – share of the number of employees in all professions.

Operators and assemblers of equipment and machines made up 14 percent, skilled workers and craftsmen 12.2 percent, service sector workers and salesmen – 12.1 percent, technicians and junior specialists – 10 percent, managers – 9.4 percent, unskilled workers – 8.1 percent. of all employees.

Employees with higher education received the highest wages

Employees with higher education in 2022 accounted for 48.1 percent. of all employees and earned the most per month: EUR 2328.7, or 27.4 percent. more than the average monthly gross wage in the national economy, 1.8 times more than workers with primary or basic education (1288.2 EUR), 1.7 times more than workers with secondary education (1389.1 EUR).

Workers aged 30-39 earned the most

in 2022 30-39-year-old workers earned the most – their average monthly gross salary (EUR 2,083) was 14%. higher than the average monthly gross salary in the country (these employees made up 25 percent of all employees of the country’s economy).

In this age group, men earned EUR 2163.8, women – EUR 1973.6.

The highest earning workers aged 30-39 with higher education earned 23.6 percent. more than the average for all workers in that age group.

Employees who worked longer in the company received higher wages

in 2022 employees with 20-29 years of experience in one company earned the most – EUR 1,981.2, or 8.4 percent. more than the average of the national economy (these employees made up 6.8 percent of all employees of the national economy).

Employees working in the company for less than one year received the lowest average monthly gross salary (EUR 1,665.5) – 8.9 percent. lower than the average of the national economy (these employees made up 19 percent of all employees of the national economy).

in 2022 the largest share of employees (43.1%) consisted of employees who had worked in the company from 1 to 5 years. Their wages (1807.9 EUR) were 1.1 percent. lower than all employees.

in 2022 men who worked for one company for 30 years or more earned the most – EUR 2386.4, or 24.8 percent. more than the average for all men (1911.9 EUR).

Women who worked in the company from 20 to 29 years earned the most – EUR 1,912.1, or 9.8 percent. more than the average for all women (1741.5 EUR).

in 2022 the median wage in the country’s economy amounted to EUR 1,512.8

in 2022 the median gross salary was EUR 1512.8, or 17.2 percent. less than the average monthly gross wage in the country’s economy (1827.5 EUR).

According to the main groups of occupations, the largest wage gap is observed in the group of managers: the values ​​of the third and first quartile differed by 2.5 times. The difference in wages for plant and machine operators and assemblers was the least: the value of the third quartile was 1.4 times higher than that of the first quartile.
