In 2021, Mr. Kasperczyk entered the list of the 100 richest people in Poland compiled by the biweekly Forbes magazine. With an estimated fortune of 1.22 billion zlotys (€0.28 billion), he was listed in 52nd place.
The company “Maspex” was founded in 1990. It was founded by J. Kasperczyk and four other entrepreneurs: Sławomir Rusinek, Krzysztof Pawiński, Józef Szczur and Zdzisław Struglik.
Currently, it is one of the largest Polish concerns in general, the largest private producer of food products in the country, and one of the largest corporate groups in Eastern and Central Europe. The group of companies also has branches in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Its brands include alcohol products such as Żubrówka, Soplica, etc. In total, the concern owns almost 70 brands, and their products are sold in stores in more than 70 countries of the world, basically on all continents. At least some of them are well known to Lithuanian buyers.
