Delphi reminds that Silvester Belt met with the Lithuanian community in Malmö on Sunday. After that, the artist said that every time he sees the people who support him live, he feels warm.
“I’m glad that we have such strong support this year, it helps a lot not to get tired and to find the extra energy that is needed at this time,” said Silvester Belt.
When asked about the preparation for the semi-finals, he did not hide that he would not like to perform his song at the beginning of the final, however, the fact that the third will take the stage on Tuesday does not confuse him at all.
“Very good, then it will be quiet, we can sit and watch other performances. I think the most important thing is the song, people vote for it, not where you appear in the semi-finals,” said Silvester Belt.
The performer, who has been staying in Melme for two weeks, said that this city is equal to Klaipėda. It is very windy, so I miss the sun and warmth.
“We all got sick, caught a cold, both participants and many members in the delegation. It’s not my favorite city, but it’s very nice. Everyone is infected with the Eurovision virus. Already at the parties, a few months ago, we got to know many of the participants, there are a few more that we don’t fully know or don’t fully want to get to know, but most of them are really very friendly, we get along, friendships have been formed, I hope they will last.

I am glad that there are many people who look after me, if necessary, organize meds too, I am in really good hands. The most important thing is to find time, to sleep, to rest, to be at peace as much as possible, because you have to communicate with a lot of people, so sometimes you want to be alone,” Silvester Belt did not hide.
By the way, the performer will walk the turquoise carpet together with other participants on Sunday evening, when asked how he was preparing for the opening ceremony of the song contest, he said that he came to the meeting with the Lithuanian community without make-up and in different clothes.
“We will go to get ready and run to the ceremony, the opening. I’m really looking forward to it, almost as much as the performance itself, because after preparing an interesting outfit myself, there will be dancers together. We will finally open Eurovision with the delegation. Although we have been here for two weeks, it will officially start only today,” the guy smiled.
Speaking about his favorites in “Eurovision”, he remained mysterious, said that first of all, he would like to see all the performances of the participants.
“Since we’ve only seen snippets, I haven’t seen a single show apart from us, so it’s too early to single out the only one,” Silvester Belt said.

He added that he did not feel any competition with the others, he heard that other delegations and performers spoke very warmly and friendly about him.
“I’m happy to feel the relaxed energy, everyone is relaxed. It seems that only the participants can understand each other in this strange fog, it’s nice that we can talk to each other,” said the performer.
And he himself said that he is currently trying not to read comments so as not to be derailed by angry people who have nowhere to vent their negative emotions.
“Mostly, I see people dancing, singing, sending wishes from different corners of the world. And inside, because there is peace, I am also calm,” smiled the Lithuanian.
