In an interview that appeared in Vogue France on Monday, the singer said that she is feeling well at the moment, but that the disease requires a lot of work on herself.

The Grammy winner admitted that she is hoping for a “miracle” cure for this disease. Although C. Dion’s current condition has affected her singing and everyday life, the singer revealed that she is trying to come to terms with the situation.

As announced by the portal lrytas.lt, frozen man syndrome is a rare disease in which sufferers eventually become human statues as the body gradually becomes stiff, unable to walk or speak.

This disease is also characterized by increased sensitivity to stimuli such as sound, light and emotional disturbance, which can cause muscle spasms.

C. Dion announced this diagnosis back in 2022. December. She then added that she was taking a break from her professional activities and wanted to focus on her health. She has since stopped performing live.

Works a lot and hard

During an interview that appeared at the end of April, the singer revealed that she devotes five days a week to sports, physical and vocal therapy.

“I work on my feet, fingers, knees, calves, singing, voice. Now I have to learn to live with the disease and stop doubting myself.

At first I asked myself: Why me? How did that happen? What did I do? Is it my fault?

But now the attitude has changed. Life does not give answers – you just have to live.

The cause of my illness has not been determined, so I guess I have two options. Either I train and work really hard or I give up and it’s all over, I’ll stay at home and listen to my songs and stand in front of the mirror and sing to myself.

I chose to work with my whole body and soul, from head to toe. I want to be the best I can be. My goal is to see the Eiffel Tower again,” C. Dion poured his heart out.

According to the performer, the love of the closest people and fans and the highest level of medical care have helped her the most so far.

“Not all people with this syndrome have access to good doctors and good treatment. I have those tools and it is a gift.

For this reason, I feel even stronger and I know that nothing will stop me,” the singer maintained her positivity.

Although C. Dion cannot promise that she will return to the stage yet, she did not rule out such a possibility.

“I can’t tell you that, yes, in four months I will be doing a concert tour. My body will dictate that.

On the other hand, I don’t want to just wait. It’s hard to just push through day after day. I work very hard every day and I always know that the next day will be even harder.

But a few things will never end – it’s will, it’s passion, it’s a dream, it’s determination,” the world-famous star concluded.

During the interview, C.Dion also posed for the cover of the French Vogue.

The singer appeared braless on the cover – in a black and white photo, she wore an open white T-shirt and shorts. She also posed on a stool wearing a brown dress and a raincoat.
