Dovi Mi Presents “Hooligan” Song & Video: “Feeling Like I Wrote A Very Hot Book” | Names

According to the artist, there is a nocturnal story about the work presented today, from which today’s premiere was born.

“That night I felt an inspiration, a passion that was so real, alive, inescapable, breathing… Screaming, whispering, playing… It’s impossible to ignore that feeling because it’s just there. With all its bright colors, advantages and disadvantages. Here and now… I touched that emotion, grabbed it and immortalized it with this song. I wrote maybe ten verses, five additional ones. The search was on. I wanted to recreate that feeling as accurately as possible. Everything was so close, but not quite there… It felt like I was writing a very hot book that didn’t have a title. And then the word “Hooligan” came, – says the creator.

According to Dovi Mi, it was this word that put everything in its place. From then on, the creative process was fast and smooth. Well-known music producer Paulius Jasiūnas also helped to finish the song presented today.

“I made a very simple demo version of the song and sent it to producer Pauliis Jasiūnas. There, “Hooligan” took exactly this form, which you can hear now,” recalls Dovi Mi.

Today, together with the song, the artist presents a music video, which was helped to be born by the friendship established in the TV project “Music Mask”.

“The process of creating the music video was very fast. I met one of the participants in the “Music Mask” project – actress, producer Skaiste Vievese. She created the idea for the music video, gathered the entire team and implemented it. It so happened that I boasted with joy and showed her that song. We started talking about the video clip, about the images that come when listening to this song. She asked me some questions about the song and the next day she sent me a ready-made video idea”, the singer is happy.
