Taking advantage of the opportunity, the performer did not forget to send a message to Russia, which caused the war in Ukraine. The author also inserted the words “Russia, all the best” in the sound of the well-known song that took 2nd place in the 2007 final.

Portal lrytas.lt reminds that 26 countries compete in the final: Albania, Cyprus, Estonia, Belgium, Austria, Poland, Australia, Armenia and Slovenia, Lithuania, Croatia, Moldova, Switzerland, Finland, Czech Republic, Israel, Portugal, Sweden, Serbia, Norway.

In addition to the semi-final selections, Ukraine and the “Eurovision Big Five”: Germany, France, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom entered the final. These five countries are the biggest financial backers of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).

Last year, the Ukrainian Kalush Orchestra won the Eurovision Song Contest. However, due to the war in Ukraine caused by Russia, the competition could not take place in this country. Last year, Sam Ryder, who represented the United Kingdom, came second with the song “Space Man”, so the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), in cooperation with the British public broadcaster BBC, decided to organize the Eurovision festival in the United Kingdom.

This year, the Eurovision Song Contest was entrusted to four presenters: Ukrainian singer Yulia Sanina (32), Irish-born UK comedian Graham Norton (60), UK actress and singer Hannah Waddingham (48) and UK singer and TV star Alesha Dixon, 44.

Countless stars will appear at the Eurovision final. Ukrainian folk group “GO_A”, Ukrainian singers Jamala, Tina Karol, performer Verka Serdiuchka will take the stage. The BBC gathered six of the most famous previous Eurovision winners – Italian Mahmood, Israel’s Netta, Iceland’s Daði Freyr, Sweden’s Cornelia Jakobs, Holland’s Duncan Laurence, Liverpool’s Sonia Evans.
