The media is discussing the incident that happened on Tuesday, March 21, during the propaganda show “Evening with Vladimir Solovyov” broadcast on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, when one of the experts invited to the show fainted on the live air.

According to Russian media, Andrei Karneyev, the head of the School of Oriental Studies at the Higher School of Economics, lost consciousness, the BBC Ruya service writes.

The footage shows him swaying slightly before falling to the floor as the show’s guests discuss the role of the United States of America (US) in the Russia-Ukraine war.

Other participants of the show approached A. Karneev to help, and V. Solovyov asked to send a doctor to the studio.

Doctors examined A. Karneev, now he is at home, reports MK.

The head of the school of oriental studies reported that he “felt bad”, but this was not related to the topic discussed.

The man explained that he didn’t leave the studio when he felt bad – he decided to “take a break”. And, according to the professor, “I lost my balance for two to three seconds,” Fontanka writes.
