A person suspected of killing two Russian citizens in Turkey last year has been arrested in Germany, Bayerischer Rundfunk reported.
A person suspected of killing two Russian citizens in Turkey last year has been arrested in Germany, Bayerischer Rundfunk reported.
47-year-old Lithuanian citizen Andrejus Kušlevičius was recognized when he tried to cross the Czech-German border. Turkey had earlier issued an international manhunt for him. The Investigative Committee of Russia has also opened a criminal case regarding the murder of two citizens of its country.
According to research data, in 2023 in November, A. Kušlevičius killed the Russian woman Irina Dvizova and her daughter Dayana in Bodrum, Turkey.
After the crime, he took the son born together with the murdered woman and fled to France.
As soon as the information appeared that the killer was possibly a Lithuanian citizen, “Vakaro žinios” contacted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headed by Gabrielias Landsbergis several times and asked them to comment on this incident.
Unfortunately, the institution’s clerks were never able to provide an answer.
