Leslie Kar, 52, of Portland, Oregon, regularly buys lottery tickets but never tracks the results. According to the woman, she saves the lottery tickets for weeks, but does not really believe in her luck.
However, when the American heard that someone had won the main prize of the Powerball lottery, she remembered the old tickets and decided to check them. L.Kar took a stack of tickets to the nearest store and scanned them all.
Suddenly, a note appeared on the screen inviting you to visit the office of the lottery organizers.
The woman then called a store employee for help and asked her to check the ticket again.
“Then he told me he couldn’t pay out the winnings because it was over $1,000.”
After these words, I felt butterflies fluttering in my stomach,” the woman recalled on the fateful day. It soon became clear that the woman had won a million US dollars in the Raffle lottery.
L.Kar plans to use the winnings to cover a home loan, a new pickup truck, and a vacation in Hawaii.
