According to CEC data, a total of more than 40.6 thousand people voted on the first day of early voting in the elections of the President of the Republic and in the referendum on the preservation of citizenship. voters. This is 1.7 percent. from the total number of all voters.

Five years ago, in 2019 almost 17,000 people voted on the first day of advance voting in the presidential elections held in voters (voter turnout – 0.7%).

This year, as usual, the largest number of voters cast their votes in advance in the capital.

The largest number of voters went to the Vilnius City Municipality, as well as to the polling stations located in Lukiškiau Square and the square near the Vilnius Press House and in the premises of Vytautas the Great University in Kaunas.

On the first day of early voting, the residents of Neringa municipality were the most active. The most passive so far are the voters of Šalčininkai district.
