The 26-year-old artist, whose real name is Silverstras Beltė, will appear in the semi-finals as number three.

A total of 15 artists will appear in the semi-finals of the first song contest organized this year in the Swedish city of Malmö on Tuesday evening, and ten of them will enter the final on Saturday.

Bookmakers predict a place in the final for the representative of Lithuania – in their opinion, 95%. chances are Silvester Belt will appear on Saturday.

According to bookmakers, only representatives of Croatia and Ukraine have better chances to reach the final from the first semi-final.

The second semi-final of the competition will take place on Thursday, and it will feature Latvian representative Dons with the song “Hollow” and Estonia’s representative this year “5miinust & Puuluup” with the song “(nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea me (küll) magida”.

The final will take place on Saturday and will feature, in addition to the 20 semi-finalists, the so-called “Big Five” – the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, France, Italy and host Sweden.

In the semi-finals of the competition, only the audience will be able to vote, in the final – both the audience and the commission of each country.

This year, bookmakers, contest fans and Eurovision experts do not single out one clear favorite.

It is assumed that the most likely to win the contest are Croatian artist Baby Lasagna with “Rim Tim Tagi Dim”, Switzerland represented by Nemo with the song “The Code”, Ukrainian representatives alyona alyona & Jerry Heil with “Teresa & Maria” and Italian artist Angelina Mango and her song “La noia”.

The right to host this year’s Eurovision Song Contest for Sweden was won by Loreen last year in Liverpool with the song “Tatoo”.

Loreen became the first female performer to win the contest twice, and it was Sweden’s seventh Eurovision win, tying Ireland for the most wins.

Lithuania participated in Eurovision for the first time 30 years ago, when Ovidijus Vyšniauskas took the last place with the song “Lopšinė mylimai” with zero points. Lithuania’s highest achievement is the sixth place in the 2006 competition, which was won by the group “LT United” with the song “We Are the Winners”.
