Having built a career in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Glenn Davis will spend a quarter of a year behind bars.

Aukštaūgis was convicted in a fraud case in which he was proven guilty of defrauding money from the NBA health care plan.

G. Davis and 17 other former NBA players submitted falsified medical records for which they collected financial compensations, although the procedures were not actually performed. He was sentenced to 40 months in prison, followed by another three years of supervised release.

Terrence Williams, who led the entire operation, has already received his sentence – he is waiting for 10 years in prison. Other former basketball players have avoided prison, although Will Bynum will serve 18 months in prison for lying under oath.

The 38-year-old, 206 cm tall G. Davis played eight seasons in the NBA, the most prominent achievement being the 2008 triumph while wearing the Boston “Celtics” shirt.

In 2007-2015, the tall man played 514 NBA games and collected 8 points, 4.4 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 21 minutes.
