In the second leg of the UEFA Europa League semi-final, Bayer Leverkusen played against Roma at home with a score of 2:2.

It’s Bayer’s 49th unbeaten run in as many games this season and the Bundesliga champions became the European record unbeaten run, overtaking Lisbon’s Benfica. The latter were unbeaten in 48 consecutive meetings.

The German team won the first match in Rome with the result 2:0.

In the 43rd minute, the Argentinian Leandro Paredes took the lead with a 11-meter penalty.

In the 66th minute, L. Paredes accurately executed another penalty and doubled the result.

Roma defender Gianluca Mancini scored a goal in the 82nd minute.

In the 90th+7th minute, winger Josipas Stanisičius equalized the result.

Atalanta Bergamo crushed Olympique de Marseille 3-0 at home in the other UEFA Europa League semi-final match. The first match ended in a 1-1 draw.

The final will take place on May 22 in Dublin.
