It is interesting that the match was played for the first time at the Darius and Girėnas stadium in Kaunas. There was no shortage of intrigue, goals and emotions in the match, and the Lithuanian Football Federation team won the match 6:4 (0:1) after a tough fight.

The LFF team was represented by Lithuanian national team coaches and federation administration employees, so Edgaras Jankauskas, Tomas Ražanauskas and Andrius Velička also played on the pitch, as well as former national team footballer Deividas Šemberas also stepped on the pitch in Kaunas.

Meanwhile, a resounding debut took place in the “Press” team – Saulius Mikoliūnas, a long-time Lithuanian national football player, who played the most matches in the national team’s shirt, also put on the yellow jersey of the journalists’ team.

S. Mikoliūnas, who ended his career last year, has been working as a commentator for the TOPsport A League since this season, and can be seen on the air before every central match of the TOPsport A League on Sundays.

The meeting itself was changing – the “Press” team scored the first goal in the first half and took the lead, but after the break the picture on the field changed.

The LFF team scored as many as four goals in the first ten minutes of the second half and led 4:1. The team of media representatives managed to get close several times, but the federation team did not let go of the victorious advantage, and at the end of the match, they consolidated the victory with the sixth goal.
