Brad Newley is retiring from professional basketball. The 39-year-old Australian, who played in Vilnius, ended the season in his hometown, and at the same time, his career.
Melbourne United, represented by Newley, went to the final in the Australian league, where they lost 2-3 to Tasmanian JackJumpers.
The tall player has been playing in Melbourne since 2021. He played in 18 games this season, averaging 2.4 minutes and 0.9 points.
