Silvestras will appear in the first part of the final, number 7.

In the first semi-final, in addition to Lithuania, the representatives of Croatia, Cyprus, Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia, Ukraine and Finland entered the final.

In the second semi-final held on Thursday, Latvia, Austria, Netherlands, Norway, Israel, Greece, Estonia, Switzerland, Georgia and Armenia won places to the final.

These countries will meet in the grand final on May 11.

Since childhood, music has been an integral part of Silvester’s life. His songs are inspired by personal life experiences, particularly his memories of exploring himself in a homophobic environment and how suppressing those emotions affected him.

The song “Luktelk” was written by Silvester together with singer Jessica Shy. All experiences are included in it.

“In the song I say: ‘I don’t want to dance anymore, but I need to dance.’ It’s about the situation where you’re between earth and sky, between death and life – it’s such a vanity. That’s what the song is about, when you say to yourself, “Hold on, hang in there and it will pass.”

But you have to dance to that music or nothing will happen,” said Silvester Belt about the song. Silvester started his career as a performer in 2017.

Graduated from the University of Westminster in 2019. In 2010, he participated in the children’s Eurovision Song Contest. In 2017, he won the Lithuanian reality show “Aš – superhitas”. In 2017, he participated in the show “The X Factor”.
