Protests in Sakartvel continue after the country’s parliament approved the high-profile law “On transparency of foreign influence”.

In Tbilisi, the parliament was being stormed, President S. Zurabishvili appealed: “Sakartvel will never be Russia.”

In turn, the country’s security forces began chasing the protesters using water cannons and tear gas. President Salomea Zurabishvili recorded her address to the participants of the mass protest in the center of Tbilisi. A “red level” has been declared in the parliament building in Sakartwell.

“Get away from the gates of the parliament, nothing is happening there anymore, this law has already been passed in the second reading, and our fight is no longer for this law,” she said. According to S. Zurabishvili, the fight must now take place through the elections for the abolition of all the scandalous laws recently adopted by the parliament.
