Lithuanian ice hockey players, who continue to win everything, secured medals at the world championship

In the first half, the Lithuanian ice hockey players looked much better, but Ron Pasco’s students, who had a good chance, failed to score and after the first 20 minutes the score was equal 0:0.

The second half started much more successfully for the visitors from the Netherlands. When the Lithuanians were unable to clear the puck, Jay Huisman threw the puck into the Lithuanian goal while it was near our goal. It was just the first goal of the Dutch in this championship.

However, soon Markas Kaleinikov equalized the result after successfully correcting his teammate’s shot.

As the second half drew to a close, Nerijus Ališauskas tried his luck from a distance. The puck thrown by the captain of the Lithuanian national team reached the goal and our team took the lead 2:1.

In the third quarter, the Lithuanians managed to gain a more important lead. Ugnius Čižas, who received a pass near the opponent’s goal, successfully disarmed the Dutch goalkeeper.

The guests from the Netherlands softened the score with half past seven minutes left in the match. Lennart Vosmer scored a goal with a masterful shot from a sharp corner.

However, during the rest of the time, the Dutch team did not score any more goals and our team won

Ron Pasco’s students won all three games they played.

At first, the Lithuanians beat the Spaniards 3-0, and then crushed the Estonians 6-1.

The Netherlands started the championship with a 0-3 loss to the Chinese, and then lost 0-4 to the Ukrainians.
