He claimed that the details of the promotion can still be discussed, but the idea of ​​taking the necessary lessons from as many sources as possible is correct.

Politicians want to increase defense funding in order to create divisions in the army faster, to accept a German brigade in Lithuania by 2027 and to prepare for general growth.

The government also decided to establish a special fund, where defense donations would be collected for higher taxes, and residents could also donate.

In order to increase the fixed financing of search protection from 2.5% to 3% of the gross domestic product (GDP), the Ministry of Finance will present four alternatives at a meeting in March.
