Wizz Air has canceled regular flights from Kaunas to the Norwegian airports of Bergen, Alesund and Stavanger for the summer season.

Wizz Air itself claims that it has done so because of the events organized in the coming months Pratt & Whitney engine inspections and promises that the changes will be temporary.

It was announced a little earlier that the Vilnius-Reykjavik flight will also be canceled. The company carried it out until January. Vilnius Airport will not remain without a connection with the capital of Iceland – from May, this route will be served by the Icelandic low-cost airline “Play”, which is coming to Lithuania.

It was announced in the media that the Vilnius – Nice flight operated by this company is no longer on the schedule, but this route was canceled back in the fall and it was not planned to return it for the summer. 15 minutes confirmed the General Director of Lithuanian Airports, Simonas Bartkus.

At Kaunas airport, Wizzair, which offered only a few routes in the winter season, reduced its number of flights to one – the only route to London remained in the schedule. All other flights in Kaunas are served by Ryanair.
