The concert to be held at the Lithuanian National Museum on Gediminas Castle Hill is one of the nine in Andrias Mamontov’s tour of Lithuania “One. Summer” performances. In the months of July-August, the artist will visit eight more amazingly beautiful places in Lithuania: historical manors, shores of lagoons, rivers and lakes and other unique locations of the country. A. Mamontovas, who has been appearing on stage for more than 40 years, will continue the concert format restored in the previous tour “One”: he will perform without an orchestra, without an accompanying group – only the performer, instruments and the audience. In addition, during the concert, the audience will have the opportunity to write down questions on pieces of paper, and hear the singer’s answers during the pauses between songs. The concerts of the summer tour will be very cozy, romantic and will take place exclusively under the open sky.

Andrius Mamontovas, commenting on the opportunity given to him by the Lithuanian National Museum to hold his first concert on Gediminas Castle Hill, did not hide his excitement. “I still can’t believe it. That place is special. I never even dreamed that a concert would be allowed there. I kept thinking that I would like to hunt a wolf when I got up there. I think that this time it will definitely succeed”, A. Mamontovas was happy.

“My songs are my messages,” said Andrius Mamontovas, when asked what message he was preparing to spread to Lithuania and the world from the mountain on which the wolf that gave birth to the capital of Lithuania howled in Gediminas’ dream. In addition, the performer revealed that for this unique concert he wants to choose songs that would sound appropriate in such a location – bright and solemn.

The beauty of Andrias Mamontov’s concert on Gediminas Castle Hill will be enhanced by 3D visualizations created especially for him, which will be projected on the walls of the castle. In addition, the space opening from the top of the mountain will serve as a boundless canvas for the concert lighting, where A. Mamontov’s music will shine with unprecedented forms of light and colors.

The date of the concert was not chosen by chance. August 22 – On the eve of Andriaus Mamontov’s fifty-seventh birthday and thirty-fifth anniversary of the Baltic Way. It is expected that the day of the event will be warm and clear, however, the organizers of the event warn that people who have managed to grab tickets should be prepared for the antics of the Lithuanian summer.

In order to protect the national heritage, certain security measures will be taken during the concert. One of them is the limited number of seats. According to the organizers of the event, sound pollution and its impact on the environment will be reduced to a minimum. Instead of the usual means used for sounding music, the concert participants will listen to the performance through the most modern network of wireless headphones, which will contribute to the unique audiovisual experience of the event.

Tour “One. Vasara” concerts will be played by different and exceptionally beautiful locations in Lithuania: Dreverna port on the shore of the Curonian Lagoon, Kaunas Yacht Club, historical mansions, and, of course, the top of Gediminas Castle hill. It is worth noting that the first concert of the tour will take place on July 6 in the Leipalingis manor located on the outskirts of Druskininkai, so the audience gathered for this performance will have a unique opportunity to sing the anthem together with Andrius.
