Julia Samorokovskaja, the representative of the Vilnius District Chief Police Commissariat, told BNS that the incident was reported in the afternoon on the so-called southern bypass of the capital, when two cars obstructed a motorcyclist.

“According to initial information, at 11:52 a.m., two cars hit a motorcyclist while driving along Tukstantmetis Street towards Gariūnai, at the turn to Savanorių Avenue. The motorcyclist got up and went to the roadside,” said J. Samorokovskaja.

She also informed about another incident in which a motorcyclist was injured while overtaking vehicles and obstructing a Peugeot car.

“Additionally, another call was received, a motorcyclist and a car collided on Tukstantmecios street above Savanorių ring road towards Gariūnai. The motorcyclist was injured. The motorcyclist hit the curb while driving and slipping between the lanes and obstructed the reporter’s Peugeot car,” said J. Samorokovskaja.

According to her, this motorcyclist was taken for a medical examination.

“According to the reports, the medics took the motorcyclist out for examination, but he is conscious, no obvious injuries were seen because he was wearing clothes,” she said.
