IDS Borjomi Europe, a sanctioned trading company of mineral water “Borjomi” of Russian capital, experienced a net loss in Lithuania last year that was 2.8 times smaller than the year before – 134,600 EUR in 2022 – 378,200 EUR).
The company received 9.45 million last year. EUR income – 5.7% more than a year ago (EUR 8.9 million).
The company’s gross profit grew by 14.2%, up to 2.95 million. EUR (EUR 2.58 million), according to the reports submitted to the Registry Center.
At that time, the company’s losses before taxes, interest, amortization and depreciation (EBITDA) in 2023 reached EUR 132,800 and also decreased by 2.8 times (EUR 378,200).
IDS Borjomi Europe states in its reports that all its shares are controlled by IDS Borjomi Beverage, a company registered in the Netherlands Antilles.
The Financial Crimes Investigation Service (FNTT) announces that all shares of the Lithuanian company are frozen.
Until June 2022, 60% of the shares of IDS Borjomi International were held by the Russian financial and industrial consortium Alfa, whose beneficiaries were subject to Western sanctions due to Russia’s war in Ukraine.
The company’s representatives told BNS last year that Alfa Finance Holding transferred 7.73% of the company’s shares to the government of Sakartvelo free of charge in June 2022, so the holding’s share became less than 50% and it was no longer under the control of the company.
IDS Borjomi Europe was previously sanctioned for its links to Russian oligarchs Alexei Kuzmichev, German Khan, Mikhail Fridman and Piotr Aven.
According to the reports submitted to the Center of Registers, last year the company “IDS Borjomi Europe” had an average of 9 employees in Lithuania (16 in 2022).
