This artist is able to combine Chopin and “Nirvana”, Hebrew lullaby and K. Cobain in his work, and the pianist’s latest album “Different eyes” was selected by The Guardian as one of the five best jazz albums in the world in 2023.

In the last decade, U. Herman has presented his work to the audience of prestigious festivals in famous concert halls in Europe, Asia and the USA. His orchestral works, such as “White Night” and “Three Dialogues” for orchestra with a jazz quartet, have received much attention in the jazz world.

The pianist’s previous albums “Face to Face” and “Awake” were favorably received by critics, and his interpretation of D. Bowie’s “A man who sold the world” was recognized as exceptional. “Uriel Herman is one of the most exciting jazz pianists today,” says France Musique.

London-based Ubuntu Music Label released the pianist’s third solo album, Different Eyes. In it, Uriel continues to explore the mysteries of music, transporting the listener to the streets of his childhood in Jerusalem, to the lullabies that the pianist sings to his son. The “Different Eyes” composition “Jeruzele” (with Itamar Borochov) invites you to immerse yourself in the author’s dear childhood memories, while the subtleties of “Nature Boy”, “Luiza” and “Fantasia” intertwine with dream visions.

The album also features F. Chopin’s famous Prelude in E minor, Op. 28 no. 4 and M. Jordan’s complex composition “MJ”.

The concert has been postponed from 2023. October 14, previously purchased tickets are valid. “LRT classics” radio recordings will be made during the concert.
