The books were brought from the city of Kyiv

The books came from the Ukrainian city of Kiev. All books are published by A-BA-BA-GA-LA-MA-GA publishing house. A-BA-BA-GA-LA-MA-GA is located in the heart of Kyiv and is considered not only the leading publishing house of children’s literature in Ukraine, but also one of the most famous in Eastern Europe.

The publishing house also opens the space for adolescent literature. And it all started with the release of the first “Harry Potter” book with a unique Ukrainian cover, which, by the way, can be seen on Joan Rowling’s own desktop in a TV interview on the occasion of the release of the first book.

Thanks to famous illustrators and translators, A-BA-BA-GA-LA-MA-GA publishes highly artistic books that combine original text with high-quality polygraphy. After all, since the founding of the publishing house, a lot of time has been devoted to the quality of publications.

By the way, in 1992, the “Ukrainian alphabet” became the first edition of “A-BA-BA-GA-LA-MA-GY”. Since then, Ababagalamzh books have won prestigious book competitions and received top reviews from celebrities around the world.

The library thanks the Embassy of Ukraine in Lithuania for finding resources in such a difficult time and helping to replenish the library fund with Ukrainian books, and the Ukrainian integration center “Malva” for active and close cooperation.
