Forecaster Paulius Starkus told the LNK program “Good evening, Lithuania” that we will end April with summer weather. The rest of the working week will be summer-like, he said.
“Also, the last month of spring awaits us – May. But now, in the coming days, at least this working week, we should not see any major changes.
As a result, everything will be quite similar during the days – there will be no shortage of sun, maybe only on Tuesday there will be more clouds in the northwestern part of the country, but in other areas it should definitely be dry, with a lot of sunny hours. And it will be like that until the end of the week,” said the forecaster.
The wind should die down on Wednesday and Thursday and the days will be really nice, P. Starkus shared the forecast.
And it will cool down a little from Friday, P. Starkus said. And greater cooling will be recorded at the beginning of next week.
“But there is still not much, because the temperature should rise to 18-23 degrees on both Friday and Saturday. The temperature will certainly be high for this time of year. And maybe it will decrease even more at the beginning of next week”, forecaster P. Starkus told the program “Labas vakaras, Lietuva”.
When asked if the jacket should be forgotten, the forecaster said no.
“I think it will definitely be needed. As we can see, the weather is not particularly constant. There may be various cooling downs, invasion of wetter weather”, forecaster P. Starkus said.
He said that it’s really hard to say what kind of summer is ahead. But long-term trends show that everything should be expected – both hot and cold periods.
“You need to prepare for everything,” said forecaster P. Starkus.
