“Babilonas” shopping center is renewing itself: it intends to change its name | Business

The changing shopping center will be brighter and more modern and even more convenient for customers, according to Asta Jasilionė, manager of the shopping center.

“The change was motivated by the desire to fundamentally update the shopping center built 16 years ago, to keep pace with today. And this means not only modern lighting or architectural solutions, but also attention to the well-being of visitors, a pleasant experience in the shopping center. The ongoing renovation does not hinder the work of the shopping center, and it will be fully renovated in the fall,” says A. Jasilionė.

The exterior renovation of the shopping center is being done by the architects Gediminas Jurevičius studio, and the interior renovation is being done by the architect Rytis Čimkus, the interior general contractors are SRS servisas, and the facade renovation general contractors are Invus.

According to A. Jasilionės, “Babilonas” will change not only its appearance, but also its name in the fall of this year – in the fall, the residents of Panevėžys and guests of the city are going to be invited to the celebration of the opening of the renovated PC “MOLAS”.

“The name change is a natural step to give the changed shopping center a new identity. It will connect to the “MOLAS” network of shopping centers managed by the “Westerwijk” group – currently two “MOLAS” PCs are operating in Lithuania, one each in Kaunas and Klaipėda”, says A. Jasilionė.

Now “Babilonas” is popular among diners looking for a place to buy sports and leisure goods, it also houses and will continue to operate the largest NORFA XXL format store in the region, the only Apollo cinema in eastern Lithuania, the largest in the region Topocentras, Sportdirect.com ”, Sinsay and other shops and service places.
