On Sunday, April 28, national and republican museums under the Ministry of Culture invite visitors to view their permanent exhibitions for free, thus continuing the initiative of free visits to museums on the last Sunday of every month.

On Sunday, entry to the Lithuanian Maritime Museum and its aquarium and aiva-museum M52 “Sūduvis”, Pranas Domšaitis Gallery and LNDM Clock Museum will cost nothing.

In the Pranas Damšaitis gallery on Sunday it will be possible to see:

  • The latest exhibition of the sculptor Algirdas Bos “Pusiaukelė”. Here you will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the sculptures of A. Bos that have not yet been seen in the city and the traces of the creative process.
  • The exhibition “From Dürer to Rembrandt”, in which – the most famous European masters – Dürer, Rembrandt, Luke van Leyden, etc. – graphic masterpieces from the National Museum of Bohdan and Varvara Chanenko.
  • “Francisco Goya exhibition “Will she rise?” from the National Museum of Bohdan and Varvara Chanenko, which even exhibits two impressive cycles created by the master “Caprices” and “Terrors of War”.
  • A permanent exhibition of the works of Pranas Domšaitis, in which colorful landscapes of distant countries, mystical religious plots, and intriguing portraits alternate as if in a kaleidoscope.

On Culture Sunday – you are also invited to visit the exhibits of the Maritime Museum, the museum ship M52 “Sūduvis”
