“Residents’ activity is pleasing – after the opening of the Kursuok.lt platform to the public at the end of January, the first 4,000 registered people were attracted within a month”, – Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Sports Agnė Kudarauskienė is satisfied with the results.

The Ministry of Education, Science and Sports, in order to encourage adults to learn, is creating a system of individual learning accounts, and the “Kursuok.lt” platform is part of it.

This platform unites training providers. It is stated that it is open to all adults who want to gain more knowledge and improve themselves. Both working and non-working people, with and without higher education or professional qualifications, can register for training programs.

However, those who are not going to pay for training out of their own pockets and would like to use the 500 euros allocated by the state for training must be working adults with higher education or professional qualifications. Others will have to pay the full amount for their education themselves.

According to A.Kudarauskienė’s data, there are currently about 4.7 thousand people who have registered for training, and more than 3.6 thousand people who have already signed training contracts. population. About 500 people have already managed to finish the training.

However, there are also complaints that the number of training programs is small and the choice is poor. “There are no such courses even in Vilnius, it’s very strange,” mentioned one of the interviewees.
