UAB TRATC informs that containers with improperly sorted waste are not serviced. Information about the reason for not emptying is provided by a warning label.
Packaging waste is recorded in mixed waste containers this week. We remind the holders of waste that cardboard boxes, plastic, metal and glass packaging must go to the sorting containers. Packaging, construction and demolition, bulky, car repair waste contaminated with hazardous substances are transported to the bulk waste collection site. Green waste is composted, transported to a green waste composting site or placed in a green waste container.
Paper, plastic, glass, hazardous, construction and demolition, bulky or green waste cannot be thrown into the mixed waste container. This rule also applies to other types of containers. You can find information about waste sorting at www.uabtratc.lt in the “Sort correctly” section.
Once the individual containers have been properly sorted, they will be emptied on the nearest scheduled date. Conscious sorting of waste contributes to reducing the amount of waste, saving natural resources and energy.
Waste holders who do not have sorting containers can order them at the TRATC toll office in Jurbarka (tel. +370 640 33018). Containers are provided free of charge by UAB “Jurbarko komunalininkas” (tel. +370 616 20444).
