Six drivers in Vilnius and the Vilnius district received a criminal case for drunken driving – Respublika.lt

In the morning, around 7 o’clock 10 min., in Vilnius, on Old Gardin Street, a 25-year-old man was driving a Volvo car while intoxicated (3.39 minutes).

Around 10 o’clock A 35-year-old man was driving an “Audi A4” car while intoxicated (1.83 km/h) in the Vilnius district, Avižienii district, near the village of Ežeraičiai.

In the evening of the same day, around 5 p.m. 6 min., in Vilnius district, Nemėžio borough, Nemėžio village, on Malūno street, a Peugeot car driven by a drunk (2.27 km) 34-year-old man drove off the road into a ditch.

Almost at the same time, around 5 p.m. 7 min., in Vilnius, on Žemynas Street, a 51-year-old man was driving a Nissan Note while intoxicated (2.84 minutes).

In the evening, around 10 p.m. 50 min., in Vilnius, on Pergalės Street, a drunken (2.73 distance) 47-year-old man was driving an Audi car, at the same time on Fabijoniškių Street, a drunken (1.56 distance) 41-year-old man was driving a Volvo S60 car.

A person who drives a motor vehicle, tractor or self-propelled machine or teaches practical driving while intoxicated, when the level of intoxication is 1.51 or more per milliliter, is punishable by a fine or arrest, or imprisonment for up to one year.

Courts confiscate cars from such drivers and temporarily deprive them of the right to drive.
