The State Energy Regulatory Council (VERT) adjusted the upper limit of natural gas transmission income set by AB “Amber Grid” at the meeting held on Thursday.

A decision was made to determine 63.8 million Eur. upper income limit, which would come into force from 2025. January 1 This amount is 4.75 percent. lower than in 2024 VERT set limit and 12.5 percent. (EUR 9.1 million) lower than the limit offered by the company. The main reason for the decrease is 41.7 percent. lower costs for technological needs.

The upper limits of regulated prices and/or income may be adjusted by the decision of the VERT once a year in case of changes in the inflation level, the prices of imported natural gas, taxes, the amount of natural gas (except for cases where the upper limit of income is set), the requirements of legal acts regulating the activities of natural gas companies , after natural gas companies have made investments coordinated with VERT, if they have not reached or exceeded the established upper limit of income, if natural gas companies have deviated from the indicators set in the methodologies for calculating price or income upper limits approved by VERT.
