Compiled from the most reliable and unreliable of 2024. list of car brands. The research used the feedback of drivers from nine European countries. They were asked to tell about the breakdowns they experienced after purchasing their cars. The results were interesting.

Japanese cars entered the top ten most reliable brands:

  • 1st place – Lexus (98 points);
  • 2nd place – Suzuki (93 points);
  • 3rd place – Subaru (93 points);
  • 4th place – Toyota (91 points);
  • 5th place – Cupra (91 points);
  • 6th place – Kia (89 points);
  • 7th place – Smart (89 points);
  • 8th place – Honda (89 points);
  • 9th place – Mitsubishi (89 points);
  • 10th place – Nissan (87 points).

On the opposite side of this ranking, the most unreliable brands in 2024, according to Europeans, are:

  • 1st place – Land Rover (64 points);
  • 2nd place – Opel (76 points);
  • 3rd place – Peugeot (80 points);
  • 4th place – Citroen (80 points);
  • 5th place – Volkswagen (80 points);
  • 6th place – Ford (80 points);
