Estonian ticket distribution and events company Piletilevi Group is buying controlling stakes in two Polish ticketing companies – kicket and Biletomat – for an undisclosed sum.

“Piletilevi Group” announces on Tuesday that after the implementation of the transaction, the joint venture will become the second largest in the Polish market, and the Estonian group itself will become the largest ticket sales company in Central Europe, mediating the sale of tickets for almost 320 million. EUR per year.

“Now our task is to effectively combine the acquired companies with GoOut Poland, our company already operating in this country, so that the best benefits of Piletilevi Group and new partners reach all our customers as soon as possible,” said the co-owner and CEO of Piletilevi Group in a statement. According to him, after the transaction, the Estonian group will control 77% of the shares of the kicket and Biletomat companies, and by 2026 this share of ours will increase to 83.8%.

The transaction was partially financed by SEB bank.

Last year, Piletilevi Group acquired controlling stakes in the Romanian ticketing company Bilete.ro and the Czech ticket trading platform GoOut.net.

Piletilevi Group belongs to S. Nuutmann’s investment company EastCom Capital and private equity funds BaltCap. “Piletilevi Group” belongs to “Piletilevi” in Estonia, “Bilesu Serviss” in Latvia, “Biletai.lt” in Lithuania, “Bilete.ro” in Romania and “GoOut.net” in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland.
