Elvis Presley’s ex-wife showed the singer’s gift: it became a real surprise

On Instagram, Priscilla shared a shot from the past when she was just 14. At that time, she was immortalized with a very sweet gift that her ex-husband E. Presley gave her when she arrived in Memphis.

She explained that at that point, Elvis said he had a surprise for her, which he soon delivered.

“He gave me a cute poodle that I named Honey. He was very sweet, so loving,” the woman recalled.

Soon the dog became inseparable with Priscilla: “He accompanied me everywhere. He also traveled with me.”

The photo the woman shared was taken after she had just landed in Memphis from Los Angeles, but Mr. Presley had no idea.

“I didn’t know there was a photographer at the Memphis airport taking a picture when I got off the plane,” she said.

The couple met in Germany when the rock singer served in the army for two years.

He was very kind, gentle, very loving, but he also respected that I was only 14 years old. We were more in tune with our thoughts, that was our relationship,” she revealed.

Reflecting on the beginning of the relationship, Priscilla revealed that it was very difficult for her parents to understand why the famous rock star was interested in her. She explained that they had a strong emotional connection, she was more of a listener and Elvis poured his heart out to her.

Due to the nature of their friendship, Priscilla went to great lengths to keep their relationship private and hid their affair from everyone at school.
