The head of the Russian Defense Ministry, Shoigu, told the press about the offensive operations of the Russian armed forces near Khasiv Yar, Avdiyivka and Donetsk. The Kremlin also reported that they captured Bogdanivka, Pervomaiska and Novomichailivka.

Analysts at the Institute of Military Research (ISW) have yet to see visual confirmation of Shoigu’s words regarding the capture of all three settlements.

The Russian Defense Ministry also said that successful military operations were conducted in the Berdychi and Georgiyivka area. Analysts say that we can really only talk about the tactical gains of the Russian armed forces northwest of Avdiyivka to southwest of Donetsk.

Soigu simply wants to show that allegedly all the offensive operations of the Russian armed forces in Donbas are successful.

However, ISW analysts predict that Putin’s army will become more active in the coming weeks, while the Ukrainian armed forces are still waiting for help from the United States. In addition, V. Putin’s army will not conduct offensive operations on the entire front line, but only in the Donbas near Chasiv Yar, Avdijivka and Donetsk.

The Kremlin will continue to attack Ukraine’s infrastructure and defense industrial base capabilities with kamikaze missiles and drones. Analysts are also convinced that the Kremlin will attack logistics, military warehouses and transport infrastructure.

The Kremlin wants to slow Ukraine’s ability to quickly and timely move manpower and military equipment to a certain frontline.
